After a long flight across the country into the wee hours of the morning, Ava, Brad and I arrived safely in Boston. We touched down at 6:55am EST (3:55am pst) and walked off the jet way to be greeted by 12 degrees of frigid air brushing our noses. Ava immediately said "col". And I then taught her how to say "brrr". she laughed at me :) My Mom was waiting with bells on for us and Ava went straight into her arms (thanks to skype). She was happy to see her Nana and couldn't wait to see her Poppi! We packed ourselves in Nana's SUV and headed to Wayland. When we arrived Poppi met us outside and greeted us with smiles and hugs. We brought our bags in and went straight to bed. Ava, Brad and I slept for 3 hours!! It was much needed. When we woke we got dressed in cozy sweaters and began to explore Nana and Poppi's house with Ava. Here are some sweet moments of Daddy and Ava looking out the window at the snow and Ava finding one of her new favorite "toys", Auntie Coley's piano!
Just a few hours of play and Ava was ready for another nap. She rested for another couple of hours and that evening Auntie Me-ma (Mina) and Sasha and Boomer came over to help us decorate the Christmas Tree
