While Grandpa and Brad worked on getting the tree up and lit on Friday afternoon, Hailey and Ava explored all of Grandma's ornaments. At one point it seemed that every ornament Ava touched broke! Good thing Grandpa is good at gluing things back together!
Mama helped Ava put the grinch on the tree.
Daddy checked out a cool ornament that Hailey wanted to share with him :)
Poor Ava didn't feel well all week. Daddy helped her take some time to relax and soothe with paci and blankie and, of course, some Daddy love.
It wasn't long before Ava realized she could play peek-a-boo with Grandpa who was eyeing her from across the room..

And not long before Ava found her way down to Hailey to tickle her!
When Grandma brought out the "skirt" for the tree, Hailey took it literally ;) "A skirt?", she asked, "let me try it on!"
And the tree trimming ended with Hailey singing us Christmas Carols :)
And...Ava got her 1st Christmas present from her Great Grandpa! A pony! Ava spends most of her time on the pony these days. She loves it :)
