dying easter eggs, or toddler science project?

Ava was too young to dye Easter Eggs with us last year in Hawaii and if you ask me, she's still too young!  Look further and you will see what I mean :)
She's watching Grandma mix the vinegar in with the colors
stirring it up, so far so good...
dropping her first egg in (and we hear the 1st crack!)
but, hey, not so bad!
until she thinks she'd like to add more color to the egg, and her hands, and her shirt...
And then when we took the egg out of the green this was the final look! (oh, yes, and then she stuck a little finger in and ate some)!!!! oh, goodness! Mommy was glad to be the photographer for this event! :)
Everyone participated, even Sweet Grandpa Great
his loving hands
and Grandpa made an egg for Grandma.

We figured, after the results of Easter Egg dying, we would hold off on the real egg hunt until next year ;)
I love that she explores every option though. Thatta girl, Ava! :)
