Los Gatos Bunny Fun Hunt!

Twinsies, head to toe!
These girls had such a great day together! Hailey arrived at 9:30am to go to the Annual Bunny Fun Hunt on the Los Gatos High School front lawn with Ava. I thought we would be spending Easter with Hailey this year, so in preparation I bought them the sweetest little matching outfits. Well, this was an even better way to wear them! They looked SO adorable and got compliment after compliment on how cute they looked :)
Hailey insisted on having the same barrette and same shoes as Ava too, so she squeezed her toes into her Lelli Kelly's and we were off!

Look how happy they are to be twinsies!
we got there and had to wait for the Easter egg hunt to start, so the girls twirled around on the lawn, laughing and giggling while Brad parked the car.

We noticed people starting to line up around the lawn area where they egg hunt would be so we headed over to make sure we got a good spot.
Ava found a new use for her Easter basket. A hat!

waiting, waiting, so patiently while they spread the eggs on the lawn. As we waited Hailey watched the people throwing the eggs everywhere and turned back to us, she said "oh, my gosh, this is SO EASY!". Brad and I laughed together and explained to Hailey that this was the hunt for 2 years and under.
And GO! Hailey was wonderful to Ava, helping her move through the crowd of people and gather eggs for her basket. There was incentive for her too, of course, the candy inside the eggs!

Hailey is so sweet and gentle with Ava.
Moving on to look for more eggs...
resting and counting eggs. They got a lot!
there were games and rides, but the girls most enjoyed this old tree we waited on while Brad went to get the car. It was cooler in the shade and fun to climb the roots (and there are no lines to climb on a tree). I loved the look of these photos with the bark as a background. My passion for photographing grows by the day with these two as my models. I love when I can capture just how beautiful they are and what it felt like to be in that moment with them, as an observer of their experience.
just watching all the kids and families.
and being as cute as can be :)
and discovering new things to be interested in. Lucky to have each other, these two~
